Logan’s bedtime routine πŸ‘ΆπŸ›πŸ›ŒπŸ˜΄

In this post I will be discussing logan’s bedtime routine and how it’s changed since he was newborn.
When logan was newborn I was terrified of bathing him on my own just because of how tiny he was and slippery! I’d always wait for Robert to be home before I attempted to bath him, but even then we were both pretty nervous at first, and being a newborn logan slept through the bath -typical! We didn’t really have much of a routine back then since he was a pretty good sleeper anyway.

Now he’s 6 months old (yeah I know half a year old I can’t believe it πŸ™€) around 5pm logan has his tea which could be a puree, homemade or jar. Then at around 7 pm I run logan’s bath and while it’s running I make his favorite banana porridge (really simple 2 baby spoons of porridge and enough cool boiled water or baby milk until it makes smooth consistency) he devours that by the way.

Then by time he’s finished his porridge the baths just the right temperature, logan loves his bath time πŸ› splish splash πŸ’¦ we use johnsons bedtime bath, i know there have been some bad reviews about that product range but I’ve used it a good while now and we’ve had no problems.

Then after his bath time fun is over i whisk him to the bedroom to get dressed in his nice warm sleepsuit and dressing gown (weather depending -it’s cold at the moment), take him downstairs and he’ll usually just fall asleep in my arms and then he’ll sleep in his bouncer until me and robbie go up to bed.

Obviously when we get baby monitors, we’ll be starting to put him to sleep in his own room (fingers crossed) please leave any recommendations for good, reasonably priced baby monitors, thanks.

That’s about it for this post.

Keep smiling πŸ˜„ ~mummytologan
